Meet the Team
JERRY HARTMAN
Owner & Chief Executive Officer
Jerry launched Sooner Technology in the fall of 2010 with a goal to build a company that would provide much needed IT services to local businesses. Since then, Sooner Technology has expanded to serve all of central and western Oklahoma and is now comprised of an IT team that is spread across Oklahoma and Arkansas. Jerry is married to Michelle and together they have three daughters, Hannah, Sarah, and Leah. Jerry received a BA in Bible from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, OK in 1991 and served in youth and college ministries until 2006. Jerry received his MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) with Network Security certification from Microsoft in 2008. Jerry enjoys volunteering with his church, traveling to see new places with family, playing golf with friends, and The Lord of the Rings.
ZACH SULLIVAN
Chief Operating Officer & Tech III
Zach grew up in western Oklahoma and received a degree from SWOSU in 2004. He worked in management and customer service for Hertz Rentals for four years, and he began his career in the IT industry in 2008. Zach came on board with Sooner Technology on day one in 2010. When he's not managing IT you can find him at the lake wake surfing, golfing, playing pickleball, and probably drinking coffee and reading a book! Zach lives in Weatherford with his wife Becca, their daughter Sydnee, and miniature dachshund Ozzy.
BRATON CLOYD
Tech III
Braton grew up in Woodward, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Harlie. He graduated from SWOSU with a Bachelors’ in Computer Science in 2017, and has been working for Sooner Technology ever since. Together, he and his wife have 5 children and live in Woodward on a small farm. Braton loves hunting, camping, and spending time outdoors in God’s creation. He is an active member of the Woodward Church of Christ.
CORY BRYEN
Help Desk Manager & Tech III
Cory has been with Sooner Technology since 2017 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science - Information Systems. Before his tech career, he was a collegiate tennis coach, guiding his players to multiple national championships and earning both regional and national coaching awards. Outside of the office, Cory enjoys tennis, golf, hunting, and woodworking.
GRANT ESTES
Tech II
Grant was born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems at SWOSU. He became a member of the Sooner Technology team in February of 2018. Grant is married to Ashley and is a proud father to Oakley. He likes spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping.
MICHELLE SULLIVAN
Chief Financial Officer
Michelle joined Sooner Technology in 2018. She has worked in banking and management since earning her Bachelor of Business Administration at SWOSU in 2005. Michelle is currently pursuing a traditional MBA at SWOSU and plays an important role in strategic planning and execution as the CFO of Sooner Technology. She enjoys the challenge of helping business clients achieve efficient and reliable managed IT services. In her free time, Michelle enjoys attending her kid’s performances and games, running, and planning the family’s next vacation.
Elias Rodriguez
Tech II
Elias Rodriguez Gutierrez is a Network Administrator with over three years of experience managing IT infrastructures. He joined Sooner Technology in November 2021 and has maintained network security, improved system performances, and implemented solutions tailored to organizational needs. Elias holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from SWOSU, graduating in Fall 2024. He also possesses multiple certifications and will have his Security + (Plus) Certification by the end of 2024. Elias and his wife, Gisel, have two children. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, participating in Esports, but most importantly spending time with his family in Weatherford, OK.
Doug Hartman
Tech II
Doug was born and raised in Sayre, OK. He graduated from Oklahoma Christian with a BA degree in Bible and a minor in Computer Science. Doug and his wife, Jill, spent several years in Portugal doing mission work before moving back to western Oklahoma where Doug started working in the field of IT while Jill attended SWOSU to get a degree in education. They moved to Northwest Arkansas where both began a career in public teaching. After almost 20 years of teaching, Doug returned full-time to IT and started working with the team at Sooner Technology in October of 2023. Doug and Jill have three children and one grandson. Doug enjoys woodworking and vegetable gardening.
Caedmon Delaplane
Tech I
Caedmon is from Enid, Oklahoma and is in the process of receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He joined the team in July 2024 and is currently a part-time employee. He enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, and going to concerts.
Kaylee Wendt
Business Administrator
Kaylee grew up in Cordell, OK and graduated from SWOSU in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Business Finance. She spent the last 7 years working in higher education before joining the Sooner Tech team in March 2024. Kaylee is married to her high school sweetheart, Kade. They reside in Weatherford with their two dogs – Koda and Bruce. She enjoys reading, a cup of coffee, spending time outside, being with her church family, and thrifting.
